I went here with a friend from college who had moved into my building after being transferred from Mesa, AZ back to Chicago at Yelp. I worked at The Onion, and my bestie from high school worked across the street from me above the post office where Beyonce and Jay-Z went shopping. We would meet at the farm-to-table gastro- pub or the health food fast-casual spot weekly. She had a wedding to go to, and I had a coach who had recommended after I won a 1:1 Coaching Session after completing her Chakra Self-Love course based on my client testimonial. It all aligned randomly, so I took it as a synchronicity.

Getting There
Rental Cars & Airports
We both had so many travel issues. I missed my morning flight and had to rebook it. Luckily, I was put on the next flight out. My friend had multiple delays. I rented a car and the gps took me to the back parking lot of a steakhouse in Cosa Mesa instead of Palm Springs... I drove through the Santa Ana's and went to Ralph's. I didn't lose my mind. I just figured it out and went the other way. What was that... Then when I was boxed in by black luxury SUVs and sportscars, I had to keep their speed and stay in the traffic cones. My friend got there even later, but we had a miscommunication. She had to stay at a hotel, because she got there at like 2-3 am. I was asleep, because I was exhausted, obviously. I went through two mountain highways by myself that day, so that was brave.

Hotels & Hot Springs
I found our cute Airbnb. I would live there. It's probably dangerous, but I like the mountains, the pools, and the cool, strong breeze through the ponds and Frank Lloyd Wright-esque walkways. I really loved that place. I would live there. It's gay friendly, and the speed limit is 35 mph. The dispensary was so cute, and everyone else there was pretty good to us - I think. I prefer a slower and more laidback vibe with luxury, style, and freshness. Right after that trip, Andy Samberg made the Palm Springs show and the Kardashians bought houses there. The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills went there as well. It was like the second coming of Tulum and the influence I left on Bali tourism...

Gas is very expensive there, and I drove a lot. I was pretty much broke then to be honest. That was like a pit moment, for me. That was a lowpoint for sure. Kyle cheated on me when I was gone and who knows what he did with my car and dog. He accused me of cheating, but I didn't. I didn't have time to and wasn't interested in that. We broke up after that. Ashley said she didn't want to be friends anymore. That was honestly fine. It usually goes that way when they can't use me anymore, because it's not convenient for them or benefitting them. While I was there, I went to a hot springs before my flight home. I went by myself in the desert area where it's more mexican. I also went hiking by myself by a smaller trailer-ish looking community. A couple in a golf course gave me directions. I got lost twice, but they were conveniently there. I know that people think that I'm crazy. I'm just fearlessly walking my path in the energy of love and positivity.

Driving & Navigation
So... when I'm on my own travelling, solo time, or just like exploring in general, the spirits always guide me. We got palm readings and spiritual intuitive readings while we were there. So, rule of thumb - spiritually you shouldn't really talk about or share your spiritual information or reading results, as it fosters jealousy and entanglement if in the wrong company...

The cheapness of California and the desert rats are the evil canevils in the dumpsters. I think that's when they started following me on planes, trains, and automobiles. America prides itself on cheapness, class, and secret groups who withhold information from others and misdirect.
Hiking
I went hiking up a mountain there on my own. I like nature, and I wanted to get some exercise. The dry air and the cool breeze feels good in the bright sun. I enjoy a good sweat in the morning with a brisk cold brew.
That's my idea of a perfect morning. It's actually kind of scary, because it's really steep, and you need good shoes.Bring your own water!
Walking
Walking through the town street and driving through the squares, you see a variety of businesses, buildings, restaurants, shops, and artistic offerings. The mod design is prevalent there with the retro feel of the city.
It's nice to walk in the early afternoon and easy to find a good spot to grab a bite. Some places don't take reservations.
Swimming
Why go to Palm Springs if you don't go to a Desert Hot Springs. There were smaller ones that looked "bougie", but they were connected to hotels. As a psychic medium, I went to the two palms hot springs.
That felt like a TV Show set, like haunted and eerie with a Burn Notice/American Horror Story charm in a way. Trucks and T-Shirts.
She has the secrets that I don't know...
Cali & Cali
When I got home, my cheating ex was being an unpleasant person. I found a Libra lighter in my car, and he lied about what he did, where he went, and who he was with. He loves Riverside and knows people in Tampa. He didn't warn me about anyone. I knew that he was different than the rest around me, but as soon as I'm gone - he's like everyone else.
