Hope
One cast stone
Expands into infinite ripples
A dropped rock
Makes waves.
As does the butterfly wing,
One flap in the air,
The world is forevermore
Changed and suspended.
Into disbelief of the
Sheer power of
One wing
In the wind.
One motion casts
Out the inertia
Of stuckness
Of stagnancy.
A dove’s cry
Harkens out on
The wind’s arms
To the great I am.
The cosmos
The benevolence of
The great mothers womb
And the great fathers sky.
Held in the ethers,
Are strung prayers upon prayers,
Like pearls on a string,
Held together by sheer desire.
This is how mountains are moved.
